Open Question: I feel like my friend and I have switched places.?
Ugh. So my pal for years was one of those really shy guys. He always had crushes on girls, but never had any success with them. He was a extremely nice guy, so girls always took advantage of him. I was successful with women and confident so I tried to "take him below my wing" and help him out. Taught him how to boost his confidence, had him start working out, helped him out with his style and what not. At first it didn't really take but slowly he became better and better. Now he's successful as hell, he's always got a girlfriend. Me, on the other hand, I have completely lost my confidence and I've lost every my skill with women. I keep trying to receive myself back to my old self but I just keep failing. Now I'm getting resentful of my pal because he's living the life I used to have. What should I do?

Open Question: 10 Things Men Wish Women Knew?
1. Confidence is Sexier Than the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue How a lady sees herself is ultimately how the man will look her. Despite how media and commercialism tries to bend this rule, attraction is only partially about a lady's physical appearance. Studies have shown time and again that men's attraction to women is a combination of personality, confidence and body language. In other words, feeling sexy is being sexy! ---------------------------------------------------------- 2. Leave us Alone in the Bathroom I won't bother you if you don't bother me. This is how most men think about the bathroom. Men generally dislike being disrupted in the bathroom, no matter what they are doing. They do not want to be asked how their day was, or if they are going "number two." In addition, most men prefer their partner to close the door when they are doing their possess business. ------------------------------------------------------------ 3. Pornography is not a Replacement for Sex With You Pornography and self-gratification are very common among men. So common, in fact, that the three-fourths of men who admit to it in studies could very well be the only ones telling the truth. As long as the pornography is not a crutch for a troubled relationship, it is a harmless act. If you are concerned about his involvement with porn, the best approach is to talk about it with an open mind, rather than to make accusations. Set boundaries if you must, but a closet porn-watcher is much more unhealthy than one who is open about it with his partner. ---------------------------------------------------------------- 4. The Fastest Way to a Man's Heart Really is Through His Stomach Men adore being cooked for, which has absolutely nothing to do with the stereotype of the barefoot and pregnant wife slaving away over a hot stove while he's off doing men's work. It's the 21st century, and studies show men are doing more of the cooking than ever before. Men, however, continue to like the privilege of a home-cooked meal. In fact, Australian research shows men sometimes prefer good food to sex. Good cooking may very well guide to the last headache you'll ever need to fake. ------------------------------------------------------ 5. We adore the Sound of Your Voice in the Bedroom You don't have to go overboard -- just let him know he's on the right track. Unless, of course, he isn't, then that is a whole different discussion. Many men base their success, in the moment, on their partners' verbal and visual cues. Studies have shown that men are much more likely to orgasm during their partners' bouts of verbal ecstasy than while silent. Your voice may be every the Viagra he will ever need. --------------------------------------------------------------- 6. Men Aren't Sexoholics, We Just Need to Feel Wanted While sex is a biological draw in men, it is also an emotional one. Sex is much more than just biology to a man, it is an outlying force which rates his overall satisfaction with life. Men need to feel wanted, and regular sex offers him a confidence that will carry over into everything he does. When he is rejected from sex, he feels rejected as a partner, husband and provider. --------------------------------------------------------------- 7. We Like the Idea of Romance, We Just Don't Always Know What to do Most men have tried to be a Romeo at some point in their lives. We know we adore you, we want to show you, but we are not always sure how to do it. Sometimes these efforts are hidden within such simple gestures as fixing the kitchen sink, or building a new shelf in the bathroom. Compared to long-stem roses, these offerings may not seem romantic to women, but they truly mean so much coming from your man. ---------------------------------------------------------------- 8. Men like the Challenge of Getting Lost and Finding Our Way Back This is a big one between many men and women, especially if you have been in a relationship for a long time. Men will inevitably receive lost, refuse to ask for directions, and by the time they receive where they were going, their partner is fuming with irritation. Relax, men have made it this far in life without anyone guiding us, so why start now. Men adore the feeling of self-navigating out of a jam. Don't rob us of this proud moment, and we won't rob you of the time it takes to pick a perfect skirt to go with that blouse. ------------------------------------------------------------------ 9. "Ok" is an Acceptable Answer to "How Was Your Day?" Studies show men use the same amount of words per day as women -- we just don't always talk about the same things. At the end of the work day, the lady is anxious to tell him every about her it -- 'this happened, then that, she said this and I did that.' When she asks him about his day, he shrugs and says, "it was ok," and this drives her nuts. Remember, if we really have something to tell you, we will. Most men are reserved talkers. It's not that we don't want 10. What You look Is What You receive Most men have run into a relationship where his partner loved most everything about him, except for those one or two things that really drove her nuts. She may have believed that she could change him, or perhaps he even told her that he could change. Truth is, for most men, what you look is what you receive. If you don't like what you look, then you're probably not going to like what you receive! Don't think you can change us, because you probably can't.

Open Question: What should the Dolphins do about their FS issue?
Should they go after Atogwe? They may have to pay a considerable amount for him since the Rams have the right to match. Should they draft a safety? Unless they draft a guy with their first pick, he's going to have a learning curve. Can they afford to wait until he catches up? Should they bring back wilson? Maybe he will have more success in Nolan's system than Pasqualoni's? I think they should sign Sharper to a 2 year deal (if they canget him to leave N'awlins) and allow Clemons the chance to develop. Who better to learn from than Darren Sharper? He looked good when he did receive on the field, and nothing can help him more than having a veteran to watch and learn from What do you think?

Open Question: Clear Relationship Contracts?
Relationships are the cornerstones of our everyday lives -- parental, romantic, familial, professional, and, of course, friendship. A relationship contract can be loosely defined as what each party expects from the other. Too often, unspoken expectations can determine its success or failure, its joy or sorrow. --------------------------------------------------------- It's Complicated Romantic relationships can fit into a few categories. Some relationships are monogamous based on mutual agreement. Others are more casual or open. Traditional gender roles make some couples feel more comfortable. For example, the man might earn the greater salary while the female manages the household. Other 'contractual issues' might include how shared finances are spent. Perhaps a couple might set limits on free time -- how and when its spent -- together or apart, which pet to adopt, and how they'll divvy up family time during holidays. ---------------------------------------------------------- Almost everything is negotiable. It's less important that you have similar tastes and preferences than it is that you understand the expectations and needs each party brings to the table. Once the issues are clearly communicated and understood, any violation of the contract suggests a need to reevaluate the contract -- or the relationship itself. -------------------------------------------------------------- Be Clear With so much at stake, it's easy to look how things can receive 'messy' in relationships. After every, people change, disappoint one another, and make bad choices. As humans, these things are inevitable. So it really is beneficial to avoid the pitfall of lacking clarity -- right from the start. --------------------------------------------------------------- If we start our interactions with a plain and simple appreciation of the other person's needs and desires, we'll have fewer problems, disappointments, hurt feelings, and anger. Too often, each person expects the other to automatically share his or her feelings -- and the ways they are expressed or reciprocated. Partners arrive to expect their mates to like the same things, have similar goals, etc. In reality, this is rarely true. -------------------------------------------------------------------- The Pitfalls Non-confrontational types refrain from expressing their actual feelings, hoping that the other person will arrive around. every this does is pave the way for disappointment, long-standing resentment, and it can impede any possibility for a mutually rewarding relationship. ------------------------------------------------ Looking back at my myriad relationships through the years, I recall the healthiest ones had the clearest boundaries. We knew what our roles were, who were to each other, what we expected from one another, and finally what each of us was able to deliver for the other's benefit. The most hurtful relationships consisted of expectations and holding out for certain behaviors I wanted my mate to embody. But I never communicated these desires, nor were they fulfilled. These relationships never lasted long, and usually ended badly. Why? Clear communication and guidelines were never established. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- We every know communication is key to any relationship. So be honest and upfront about what you want and expect, and what you intend to deliver, no matter what type of relationship you're in. Even if it's casual, define what that means -- as specifically as possible. Insist upon a 'clear contract,' where you communicate what you expect from the other person and ask them to do the same. In the long run, it makes for healthier, happier relationships. You'll cheer up when you clear it up!

Open Question: 15 Secret Fears of Men?
Men like to depict themselves as stable, simple, and strong, but underneath that rough exterior lies many secret fears. Some you may know, others you may not. These worries fall below the categories of medical, failure, self-image, and immortality. Following each category will be a few suggestions of things you can do to help bring some relief: ----------------------------------------------------- MEDICAL • Doctors - Men fear doctors. Some fear them so much, they will shrug off the majority of their aches and pains, as "nothing". A recent survey, however, indicates that men are 40 percent more likely to die from cancer because of their hesitance to seek medical attention at the first sign of trouble. • Prostate - Beyond the occasional aches and pain, what men truly fear is any problem occurring down south. Prostate and testicular cancers are a big concern among men. In addition, most men fear their first prostate exam. • Vasectomy - Going along with the general fear of doctors poking around in their genital region, most men fear the vasectomy as a form of birth control. Many would rather have their partner sterilized, even though the female tubal ligation is a much more invasive procedure. • Erectile Dysfunction - And now we arrive to the pinnacle of men's medical concerns -- the fear of losing his ability to achieve and maintain an erection. Many men link their image of youth and manhood to their ability to engage in sex, and engage in it well. A man who cannot perform satisfactorily may not look himself as a worthy member of society. How to Help: Men don't like to talk about this stuff with their partners. That is just a fact of life. However, if he knows you care about him, knows you are there to hear when he needs you, and knows are willing to support him every step of the way ... that's a good start. FAILURE • In His Relationships - In the beginning of a relationship, most men fear commitment. They fear the finality of it, loss of freedom, loss of space, and having only one sexual partner for the relax of their life. Men who are committed, fear failing in that commitment (cheating, etc.), getting a divorce, and dying alone. • To be an Adequate Lover - This may occasionally tie into erectile dysfunction, but most every men fear being labeled as a lousy lover. While it is a common joke that men receive on top of their partner, do their thing, then roll off, and fall asleep, according to a national survey by Harris Interactive, men actually do care what their partner thinks about their performance. • To be "the Best" She Ever Had - Men are very competitive with each other, and they always want to be better in bed than any other man their partner has been with. He may not arrive right out and ask if he is the only one who uses the "counter clock-wise swirl with a pinch ..." (Jerry Seinfeld reference), but you can be sure he's counting on it. • At His Job - A man's success at his job and ability to provide for his family is always a number one concern. Men want to be a good hunter-gatherer, which means providing adequate comfort and security. A man who is living pay-check-to-pay-check is below a lot of stress, because he fears he will be labeled as a needy provider, and that is inexcusable in his eyes. •To Rank Highly on Google - It may sound silly, but technology has brought men a new accomplishment to worry about, their ranking on a Google name-search. Many men secretly compare themselves to friends on Google, i.e., "Jerry is on one and a half pages, George on three and a quarter ... " Men fear not becoming an important contributor to society, and Google is a tangible confirmation of that fear. How to Help: Even though it may seem more beneficial to discuss the problems in a relationship, some women forget that men need to know the good things, too. Men like to be the hero in their relationship, which means they want to know they are pleasing their partner in the bedroom, making her feel secure, loved, and taken care of. Men are not perfect, so we don't want to be lied to in order to make us feel better, but we do need to hear occasional compliments to go along with the criticisms. SELF IMAGE • Hair - Research indicates that well over 4 million men worldwide are using some sort of product(vitamins, monkey urine, Rogaine, Propecia) to battle their hair loss. Men are vein, proud, and feel perpetually 28-years-old until that moment they look in the mirror and look their aging, balding dad staring back at them. • Body - Most men fear how their partner sees their body. They worry that their partner will think they are too hairy, too scrawny, too pale, too smelly, and most importantly, when the time comes to expose their manhood, how will it compare to her expectations. Deep down inside, no matter how big a man is, he wishes he was just a little bit bigger. • Is He Still 'chilly' - Men fear losing their youth, and they also fear becoming 'uncool' in the eyes of their friends and loved ones I was doing some research and I came cross on thos messages which is been posted by some one profesional on the internet, and I thought that I can share with every one, thank you so much for reading, and paying attention

Open Question: Can someone give me the name to this movie?
While my memory is very vague, I do remember 2 scenes in the movie. First of every the premise of the movie is in a foreign country, and its basically about these young teens who have guns and do drugs and form a gang killing anyone in their way including their parents, kids and adults. I don't recall if I saw the movie with subtitles or not. However, its a fairly new movie that was probably released in the 2000s (maybe 2006-2007). The cast I believe were mostly middle eastern or black. It may have received international success, but I'm not too sure. The two scenes in the movie that I remember are: 1. A man gets caught sleeping with a married lady by her husband and flees out the window but naked and while running he sees a young boy and asks him for his jeans short to cover up and the boy gives it to him. 2. The gang of teenagers approach a group of little boys. After seeing the gang the boys every run away but one. The gang leader (I believe) ends up shooting the young boy in the head with a gun. If anyone knows anything about the movie or have even the slightest clue, please feel free to answer with as much info as possible. Thank you.

Open Question: I need some help with american history?
my homework says: Pick out a famous religious leader during this period of American history(American prior to Columbus - Lexigton & Concord) and design a newspaper headline with an accompanying article on " current news" surround him/her. The article needs to include information about the persons's life and activities. I don't understand really good, I've got my sources but i don't know how to put my research into a newspaper headline. I really need your help guys, this project is for tomorrow and is worth 100 points, i also have to do an interview but i can do that by my possess. I just need this little help from you every. I appreciate it so much. Here my research: Winthrop, John - 1588–1649, governor of the Massachusetts Bay colony, b. Edwardstone, close Groton, Suffolk, England. Of a landowning family, he studied at Trinity College, Cambridge, came into a family fortune, and became a government administrator with strong Puritan leanings. A member of the Massachusetts Bay Company, he led the group that arranged for the removal of the company's government to New England and was chosen (1629) governor of the proposed colony. He arrived (1630) in the boat Arbella at Salem and shortly founded on Shawmut peninsula the settlement that became Boston. He was—with the possible exception of John Cotton—the most distinguished citizen of Massachusetts Bay colony, serving as governor some 12 times. He helped to shape the theocratic policy of the colony and opposed broad democracy. It was while he was deputy governor and Sir Henry Vane (1613–62) was governor that Winthrop bitterly and successfully opposed the antinomian beliefs of Anne Hutchinson and her followers, who were supported by Vane. The force of his influence on the history of Massachusetts was enormous. Winthrop's journal, which was edited by J. K. Hosmer and published in 1908 as The History of New England from 1630 to 1649 is one of the most valuable of American historical sources. http://www.questia.com/library/john-winthrop.jsp Winthrop, John (1588–1649), leader of the Puritan settlement in New England and first governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony.Between 1602 and 1620, John Winthrop attended Trinity College, Cambridge; studied law; was married three times and widowed twice; took over his dad's estate at Groton Manor; served as justice of the peace; and became an acknowledged Puritan. Throughout the 1620s, economic pressures, political crises, and his intensifying engagement with Puritanism led Winthrop to despair of England's future and to join other Puritans planning an escape to America. As governor of the newly formed Massachusetts Bay Company, his sermon in 1630 on board the Arbella —“A Modell of Christian Charity”—defined the Puritans’ mission to create a biblical commonwealth in covenant with God that would “be as a Citty upon a hill.” Winthrop's Journal documents his skillful guidance and leadership during the first two decades of settlement. A generally moderate man, he tried to balance the authority of the governors with the liberties and interests of the governed, seeking harmony in the face of conflicts and emphasizing communal over private interests. Deeply religious, he endeavored also to balance his lifelong quest for assurance of grace with an appreciation of life's pleasures, opposing Anne Hutchinson's claims to absolute spiritual assurance and Roger Williams's perfectionism. His wisdom, intelligence, and political acumen helped insure the survival and success of the Puritan experiment in America. look also Colonial Era; Exploration, Conquest, and Settlement, Era of European; Religion. http://www.encyclopedia.com/doc/1O119-WinthropJohn.html and this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Winthrop

Open Question: Why do people criticise the 'western' diet?
Even though, generally european people are amongst the tallest and physically strongest people in the world? White people have almost conquered the entire world numerous times over the past few thousand years, and i'm sure their diet played a key part in their success - it gave them sharp minds and strong bodies. And lets not forget how beautiful north european women are. So eat every the red meat, bread and drink every the milk you want, it will help to make you stronger, as long as you also remember to train difficult. That's very important too. Forget about every those fad cuisines like Mediterranean and Japanese food. Have you seen what crete and asian guys look like? They stand about 5'5 and have the physique of a pencil. Do you want to end up looking like that? No. So eat your damn steak and eggs. Every single strongman competitor is of European origin. And that's because they eat a good, healthy 'WESTERN' diet.

Open Question: How can I boost my weight loss?
I am trying to lose weight and having some success. I have lost about 30 pounds in two months and gone from a BMI of 34.5 to a BMI of 30.1 (still way over-weight). I have reduced calories and am eating healthier foods. I am also exercising every day on my elliptical (60-90 minutes) at a moderate level. It started slowly. Then, the weight really started to arrive off quickly at a rate of about 5 lbs/week. I have done this without the use of any supplements or diet pills. It was nice of amazing and felt good to have such noticeable success. The weight loss has slowed significantly over the past couple of weeks. Instead of losing 5 lbs./week, I actually gained a pound over the past two weeks. I continue to exercise and have added some strength-training to my routine in addition to the cardio. My intake has been and remains at about 1800 calories/day. The weight-loss just stopped. I can't help wondering, "Why did I cease losing?". What can I do to kick my weight-loss into high-gear again?
